Personal Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support and care to our clients in Canton, MI. This role involves assisting individuals with daily living activities to help them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.


• Assist clients with mobility and transfers safely and comfortably.


• Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.


• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment.


• Accompany clients to appointments and errands as required.


• Monitor client’s health and report any changes or concerns promptly.


• Maintain respectful and professional communication with clients and family members.

Requirements

• Previous experience in personal care or a related field is a plus.


• Ability to pass required background checks.


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.


• Reliable, compassionate, and patient nature.


• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
