Personal Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide exceptional in-home care services to clients in Manchester, MI. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities to promote their independence and enhance their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.


• Support clients with mobility and transferring safely.


• Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.


• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Follow care plans and report any changes in the client’s condition to supervisory staff.


• Maintain client confidentiality and comply with all healthcare regulations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in personal care or home health care preferred but not required.


• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately.


• Reliable transportation to and from client locations.


• Physical ability to assist clients with mobility.


• Background check clearance.
