Personal Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join our team in Saline, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support to clients in their daily activities, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.


• Support clients with mobility and transfer activities.


• Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.


• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.


• Monitor clients’ health and report any changes or concerns to supervisors.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Follow all care plans and maintain accurate documentation.

Requirements

• Previous experience in personal care or home health care is an asset, but NOT required.


• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and transferring clients.


• Compassionate, patient, and dependable with strong communication skills.


• Reliable transportation to and from clients’ homes is a plus.


• Must pass  background checks.
