Personal Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide exceptional support to our clients in Milan, MI. This role involves assisting individuals with daily living activities to enhance their quality of life and promote independence.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.


• Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as needed.


• Help with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to supervisory staff.


• Follow care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals.


• Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience in personal care or a related field is an advantage.


• Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong interpersonal skills.


• Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain professionalism.


• Must be able to pass background checks.


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is a plus.
