Personal Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join our team in Brighton, MI. This role involves providing support to individuals in their daily living activities to enhance their quality of life and maintain their independence.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.


• Support clients with mobility and transferring needs.


• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements.


• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Monitor clients’ health and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals.


• Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams.

Requirements

• Previous experience in personal care or home care is an advantage.


• Compassionate and patient with strong interpersonal skills.


• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.


• Reliable transportation to and from job location.


• Must be able to pass background checks and drug screening as required.
