Personal Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistants to join our team in Romulus, MI. In this role, you will provide essential care and support to our clients, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.


• Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment.


• Monitor and report any changes in clients’ health or behavior to appropriate personnel.


• Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals.

Requirements

• Previous experience in personal care or a related field is a plus.


• Compassionate, reliable, and patient with strong interpersonal skills.


• Ability to pass background checks and meet state health and safety requirements.


• Must be able to perform physical tasks required for client care.
