Personal Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join our team in Westland, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support and care to clients to help them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation


• Provide companionship and emotional support


• Help with light housekeeping tasks


• Monitor and report any changes in clients' condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals


• Ensure clients’ safety and comfort at all times


• Maintain proper documentation of services provided

Requirements

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills


• Ability to follow care plans and instructions accurately


• Reliable, compassionate, and patient


• Ability to pass background checks


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is a plus.
