Personal Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide exceptional support to clients in Chesterfield, MI. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities to help them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene.


• Help clients with mobility and transferring as needed.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Assist with meal preparation and feeding when necessary.


• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.


• Monitor clients’ health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel.


• Maintain accurate records of care provided.

Requirements

• Previous experience in personal care or home care is a plus.


• Ability to assist clients with mobility and physical tasks.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Compassionate, patient, and reliable.


• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.


• Must pass background checks.
