Personal Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to our clients in Hartland, MI. This role involves assisting individuals with daily living activities to enhance their quality of life and promote independence. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting


• Support clients with mobility and transferring as needed


• Help with meal preparation and feeding when necessary


• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients


• Document and report any changes in client’s health or behavior to supervisors


• Follow care plans and adhere to safety protocols and company policies

Requirements

• Previous experience in personal care or caregiving is a plus


• Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills


• Ability to pass background checks and any required training


• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed
