Personal Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join our team in Blissfield, MI. In this role, you will provide essential personal care and support to clients, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility


• Provide medication reminders and monitor clients’ health and well-being


• Perform light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation


• Accompany clients to appointments and social activities as needed


• Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to supervisors


• Maintain a respectful and supportive environment for clients at all times

Requirements

• Previous experience in personal care or home health care preferred


• Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong interpersonal skills


• Ability to follow care plans and medical instructions accurately


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation


• Ability to pass background checks


• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed
