Personal Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to provide quality care and support to our clients in Inkster, MI. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities to enhance their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting


• Provide mobility assistance and support with ambulation


• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed


• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment


• Monitor and report any changes in client’s condition or needs to supervisors


• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients


• Follow care plans and adhere to company policies and procedures

Requirements

• Previous experience in personal care or related field preferred but not required


• Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong interpersonal skills


• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members


• Must be able to pass background checks 


• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed
