Personal Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistants to provide essential support to clients in Auburn Hills, MI. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will help individuals maintain their independence and improve their quality of life through personalized care and assistance with daily activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing


• Support with mobility and transferring as needed


• Help with meal preparation and feeding


• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment


• Provide companionship and emotional support


• Monitor and report any changes in client’s health or behavior to the care team


• Follow care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals

Requirements

• Previous experience in caregiving or personal care assistance is a plus


• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately


• Reliable and punctual with strong organizational skills


• Ability to pass background checks and meet company health and safety standards


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is a plus
