Personal Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to clients in Pontiac, MI. This role involves assisting individuals with daily living activities to promote their independence and improve quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.


• Help with mobility and transferring clients safely.


• Support clients with medication reminders and basic health monitoring.


• Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed.


• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Requirements

• Previous experience in personal care or related field is a plus.


• Ability to work effectively and compassionately with elderly or disabled clients.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.


• Ability to pass background checks.
