Personal Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide high-quality care and support to our clients in Northville, MI. This role involves assisting individuals with daily living activities to enhance their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing


• Support clients with mobility and transferring


• Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed


• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment


• Monitor client health and report any changes to healthcare professionals or family members


• Provide companionship and emotional support


• Follow care plans and maintain accurate documentation

Requirements

• Previous experience in personal care or a related field preferred


• Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate empathy


• Reliable transportation to and from client locations in Northville, MI


• Basic knowledge of household safety and infection control
