Personal Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide quality care and support to clients in Garden City, MI. This role involves assisting clients with daily activities, promoting their independence, and ensuring their comfort and safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.


• Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as needed.


• Help with light household tasks including cleaning, laundry, and organizing.


• Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Follow care plans and communicate effectively with clients and their families.

Requirements

• Previous experience in personal care or related field is a plus.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to perform physical tasks and assist with mobility.


• Compassionate, patient, and dependable.


• Reliable transportation to and from clients’ homes in Garden City, MI.
