Personal Care Attendant

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Attendants to provide exceptional support to our clients in Garden City, MI. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities to help them maintain their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.


• Help with mobility, including transferring and positioning clients safely.


• Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as needed.


• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Monitor clients' conditions and report any changes to supervisors or healthcare professionals.


• Follow care plans and instructions from supervisors and healthcare providers.

Requirements

• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and assisting in mobility.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Reliable, compassionate, and patient demeanor.


• Must pass background checks and any required health screenings.


• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends if needed.
