Personal Care Attendant

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Attendants to provide exceptional support to our clients in Dexter, MI. As a Personal Care Attendant, you will assist individuals with daily living activities, promoting their independence and enhancing their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting


• Support clients with mobility and transferring as needed


• Help with meal preparation and feeding assistance


• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment


• Provide companionship and emotional support


• Monitor and report any changes in the client’s condition to healthcare professionals or family members


• Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to care and safety

Requirements

• Previous experience in personal care or home health aide role is an asset, but NOT required


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills


• Ability to follow instructions and work independently


• Reliable, compassionate, and patient demeanor IS A MUST


• Ability to pass background checks
