Personal Care Attendant

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Attendants to join our team in Inkster, MI. As a Personal Care Attendant, you will provide essential support to clients, helping them with daily living activities to enhance their quality of life and maintain their independence.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene


• Provide mobility support including transferring and positioning


• Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed


• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment


• Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to supervisors


• Provide companionship and emotional support to promote client well being


• Adhere to all safety and confidentiality standards

Requirements

• Prior experience in personal care or a related field is an asset


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Ability to follow instructions and work independently


• Reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to client care


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is a plus
