Personal Care Attendant

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Personal Care Attendants in East China Township, MI. This role involves providing personalized care and support to clients in their homes, enhancing their quality of life and promoting independence.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.


• Provide companionship and support to clients to promote emotional well-being.


• Monitor clients’ health and report any changes or concerns to nursing staff or supervisors.


• Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.


• Follow care plans and adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure quality care.

Requirements

• Previous experience in personal care or healthcare is an asset but not required.


• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and their families.


• Reliable, trustworthy, and able to maintain client confidentiality.


• Must be able to pass a background check and have reliable transportation.
