Personal Injury Associate Attorney

Note: This position requires employees to be on-site five days a week at our clients New York office.

Note: The qualified candidate for this position must have 5+ years of personal injury experience and be an active member of the New York Bar.

Job Description

• Handle serious and catastrophic personal injury cases from initial filing through verdict
• Screen potential litigation clients and interview clients and witnesses
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery documents, and prepare for mediations
• Negotiate with insurance companies to maximize client outcomes
• Depose witnesses and prepare clients for depositions
• Provide counsel and representation throughout trial
• Supervise legal teams to ensure attorneys focus on high-level case strategy
• Collaborate with supervising attorneys to ensure efficient, high-quality case handling
• Maintain exceptional client service and communication

Qualifications

• 5+ years of personal injury experience (required)
• JD from an ABA-accredited law school
• Active New York Bar license
• Strong written, verbal, and negotiation skills
• Ability to evaluate claims effectively
• High attention to detail, ability to multitask, and meet deadlines
• Commitment to professionalism and client advocacy

Must have active NY bar license. Must have 5+ years of personal injury experience. This is a plaintiff side law firm. "We request our candidates to complete a values assessment as apart of hiring process. We will advise you if we would like to move forward with the candidate to share the logins for the values assessment. The values assessment can be done from their own laptop for easy access and it does not take more than 20 minutes to complete.
