Personal Injury Attorney

Ramos Law is a fast-growing, full service personal injury law firm founded by Dr. Joseph Ramos, MD, JD a licensed physician and attorney. We are dedicated to helping people recover physically, emotionally, and financially after accidents.
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Personal Injury Attorney to join our Colorado legal team. In this role, you’ll represent injured clients in auto accident, premises liability, and catastrophic injury cases. You’ll collaborate closely with our in-house medical analysts, case managers, and paralegals to deliver exceptional outcomes while providing the caring, client-first service that defines Ramos Law.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of personal injury matters from intake through settlement or trial.
• Conduct initial case evaluations, legal research, and strategy development.
• Communicate directly with clients, insurance adjusters, and opposing counsel.
• Negotiate settlements to achieve the best possible results for clients.
• Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, discovery, motions, and settlement agreements.
• Represent clients in depositions, mediations, and court proceedings.
• Collaborate with medical analysts to interpret medical records and summarize injury findings for demand packages and trial exhibits.
• Work alongside case managers and paralegals to ensure timely case progression.
• Maintain accurate case documentation and use the firm’s case management software (FileVine, Microsoft 365, DocuSign, and Zoom) for communication and reporting.
• Uphold Ramos Law’s values of integrity, compassion, hard work, and fairness in every client interaction.

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in Colorado (Arizona license a plus).
• 2+ years of experience in personal injury litigation or plaintiff-side law.
• Proven ability to handle a heavy caseload and meet strict deadlines.
• Excellent negotiation, research, and written/oral communication skills.
• Strong client service mindset — able to communicate complex medical-legal concepts clearly and empathetically.
• Proficiency with FileVine, Microsoft Office Suite, and virtual communication tools (Zoom, Teams).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Reliable transportation to travel between Ramos Law’s offices (Denver, Broomfield, Centennial, Colorado Springs, Grand Junction, and Wheat Ridge) for client meetings or court appearances.
