Location: Lakewood, NJ | Full-Time | On-SiteJoin our collaborative, in-office team in Lakewood, New Jersey, where you will work closely with legal professionals and intake specialists to make timely, informed decisions.

Note: Candidates must have hands-on experience evaluating personal injury claims or cases, preferably as a personal injury paralegal, bodily injury claims adjuster, or claims manager. This is a specialized case evaluation role, not a general customer service or entry-level intake position.

Job Description

• Evaluate incoming personal injury inquiries in real time to identify potential cases and determine appropriate next steps.
• Assess liability, damages, insurance coverage, and other key factors affecting case strength and potential value.
• Help intake specialists ask effective questions, gather essential information, and recognize important details.
• Identify urgent, high-value, or time-sensitive matters and promptly escalate them when necessary.
• Prioritize potential cases and direct them to the appropriate attorneys or departments.
• Monitor pending inquiries, coordinate follow-ups, and help ensure important opportunities are not missed.
• Coach intake team members and improve the accuracy, consistency, and efficiency of the case evaluation process.
• Collaborate with attorneys and leadership to support effective decision-making and excellent client service.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience handling or evaluating personal injury claims or cases.
• Background as a personal injury paralegal, bodily injury claims adjuster, claims manager, or comparable personal injury professional.
• Working knowledge of personal injury liability, damages, insurance coverage, and case assessment.
• Strong judgment, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage priorities and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience training or guiding intake staff is a plus.
• Ability to work full-time on-site in Lakewood, NJ.
