Job Description - Personal Injury Manager

Description

We're seeking an experienced Personal Injury Manager to oversee our Personal Injury department. This role will be responsible for managing the full cycle of personal injury cases, ensuring seamless coordination between case managers, law firms, funding companies, and patients. You'll lead a team of case managers, an administrative assistant, and a supervisor, driving efficient case management and exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Case Management Oversight: Monitor and guide case managers, ensuring timely and effective case progression, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  2. Team Leadership: Provide strategic direction and guidance to the case management team, administrative assistant, and supervisor, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  3. Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency, quality, and patient satisfaction.
  4. Funding Coordination: Work closely with funding companies to ensure seamless coordination and funding for patient care, managing expectations and resolving issues promptly.
  5. Communication: Ensure effective communication with patients, internal stakeholders, and external partners, promoting a cohesive approach to patient care and case management.
  6. Worker's Comp Claims: Oversee the management of worker's comp claims, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  7. Reporting and Analytics: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure department performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  8. System Utilization: Leverage Microsoft Suite and E Clinical Works to manage cases, track progress, and generate reports. Experience with other electronic medical records (EMRs) systems is a plus.

Requirements

Experience: Proven experience managing personal injury cases and teams.

Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience (e.g., healthcare administration, business administration).

  • Ability to analyze complex cases and make informed decisions
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records systems
