Job Description - Personal Injury Paralegal

The Law Offices of Steven H. Heisler, LLC is growing and we are seeking an experienced personal injury paralegal to join our team.

Responsibilities Include:

Summarizing medical records/creating medical chronologies.

Keeping files organized by monitoring case calendars; documenting actions, and inputting information into case management software (Needles).

Extensive client contact to communicate case progression and status updates in a professional manner.

Case development through filing claims, maintaining contact with adjusters, medical providers, other attorneys.

Obtaining medical records and bills from providers as necessary.

Verifying all outstanding balances to prepare file for settlement.

Disputing health insurance and short-term disability liens.

Ensuring PIP and/or MEDPAY is processed and exhausted.

Preparing demand packages for settlement

Compensation: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
