Personal Injury Pre-Litigation Attorney

Note: This position requires employees to be on-site five days a week at our clients Miami Lakes, FL office.

Note: The qualified candidate for this position must have at least 2 years of personal injury experience and be an active member of the Florida Bar.

Job Description

• Manage the full lifecycle of personal injury cases, focusing on pre-litigation matters
• Interview and evaluate potential clients and witnesses
• Oversee case strategy and settlement negotiations
• Draft demand letters, pleadings, and other legal documents
• Negotiate with insurance companies to maximize settlements
• Prepare clients for statements and depositions
• Collaborate with case teams to ensure smooth and efficient file management
• Maintain strong client communication and uphold high standards of service
• Participate in training and development opportunities to strengthen legal expertise

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of personal injury experience (required)
• JD from an ABA-accredited law school
• Active Florida Bar license
• Strong written, verbal, and negotiation skills
• Ability to evaluate claims and develop effective case strategies
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Committed to professionalism and client advocacy

Must have active FL bar license. Must have 2+ years of personal injury experience. This is a plaintiff side law firm. “We request our candidates to complete a values assessment as a part of the hiring process. We will advise you if we would like to move forward with the candidate to share the logins for the values assessment. The value assessment can be done from their own laptop for easy access and it does not take more than 20 minutes to complete.
