Personal Injury Trial Paralegal

Note: This position requires employees to be on-site five days a week at our client's NYC office.

Note: The qualified candidate for this position must be fluent in English and Spanish, have at least 3 years of litigation experience, and experience in personal injury law.

Job Description

• Support trial attorneys throughout the litigation and trial process
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients, providing updates and gathering information
• Manage case schedules, track deadlines, and coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials
• Prepare and review pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and trial documents
• Organize and maintain case files, including medical records, court filings, and correspondence
• Arrange for witnesses, issue subpoenas, and assist with witness preparation
• Prepare trial exhibits, notebooks, and materials; provide in-court support by managing exhibits, taking notes, and assisting attorneys
• Work closely with attorneys and case managers to ensure cases proceed smoothly and efficiently

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Spanish (required)
• Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience (required)
• Experience in personal injury law (required)
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
• High level of professionalism and client service focus

Must be bilingual Spanish. Must have 3+ years of litigation experience with PI experience. Deal break for 1 yr PI law experience. “We request our candidates to complete a values assessment as a part of the hiring process.
