Personal Support Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team in Ypsilanti, MI. This role involves providing essential support and care to clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Monitor and report changes in clients’ health and well-being to the healthcare team.


• Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring client safety at all times.


• Maintain proper documentation of care provided and client progress.


• Follow care plans and adhere to all health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Compassionate and patient with strong interpersonal skills.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Two forms of ids


• Reliable transportation to client homes in Ypsilanti, MI.


• Pass background checks
