Personal Support Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Workers to join our team in Fort Gratiot, MI. As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients


• Help with mobility and transfers to ensure client safety


• Monitor and report any changes in client health or behavior to the appropriate healthcare professionals


• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided


• Adhere to all company policies and procedures as well as state regulations

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Personal Support Worker or similar role is a plus


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills


• Compassionate, patient, and reliable


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is a plus


• Must pass background checks and comply with all company requirements
