Personal Support Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team in Hartland, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support and assistance to clients, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. Your daily work will involve offering hands-on care, emotional support, and companionship to individuals in their homes.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.


• Support clients with mobility and transfers safely.


• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary guidelines.


• Provide medication reminders and assist with prescribed medical routines.


• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.


• Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.


• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.


• Record observations and report changes in clients’ condition promptly.

Requirements

• Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong interpersonal skills.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
