Personal Support Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Workers to join our team in Whitmore Lake, MI. As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life. This role requires a caring attitude, reliability, and a commitment to delivering high-quality personal care services.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.


• Provide mobility assistance and help clients with exercises as directed.


• Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including confidentiality guidelines.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and their families.


• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes within Whitmore Lake, MI.


• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.


• High school diploma or equivalent.


• CPR and First Aid certification is an asset.
