Personal Support Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Workers to join our team in Van Buren Township, MI. As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to our clients, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Monitor and document clients’ health status and report any changes to the healthcare team.


• Assist with medication reminders according to care plans.


• Ensure clients’ homes are safe, clean, and comfortable.


• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Personal Support Worker or in a similar care-giving role is a plus.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
