Personal Support Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team in Chelsea, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support and assistance to clients, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life in a home care setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to enhance their well-being.


• Help with mobility support and transfers safely and respectfully.


• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.


• Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals.


• Document care and report any incidents or concerns promptly.

Requirements

• Previous experience in personal support.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Reliable transportation to and from job site in Chelsea, MI.


• Compassionate, patient, and respectful towards clients.
