Personal Support Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Workers to provide exceptional care and support to clients in Temperance, MI. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, promoting their independence, and enhancing their quality of life in a respectful and supportive manner.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene.


• Help clients with mobility and transfers to ensure safety and comfort.


• Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as needed.


• Monitor and report any changes in clients’ health or behavior to the appropriate healthcare professionals.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being.


• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.


• Follow care plans and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Personal Support Worker or in a similar caregiving role is plus but not required.


• Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong interpersonal skills.


• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.


• Must be able to pass background checks and provide references.


• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
