Personal Support Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Workers to provide exceptional care and support to our clients in Ypsilanti, MI. This role involves assisting individuals with daily living activities to help maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.


• Support clients in performing daily living activities including meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping.


• Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for clients.


• Observe and report any changes in clients’ physical or emotional condition to the supervisor.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ well-being.


• Follow care plans and company policies to deliver high-quality service.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Personal Support Worker or in a similar care-giving role is preferred.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to maintain client confidentiality and respect privacy.


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.


• Ability to pass background checks as required.


• Compassionate, patient, and dependable attitude.
