Personal Support Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to provide high-quality care and assistance to clients in West Bloomfield Township, MI. Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.


• Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed.


• Monitor clients’ health and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.


• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.


• Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ quality of life.


• Document care provided and communicate effectively with supervisors and families.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Personal Support Worker or similar role is a plus.


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a care team.


• Compassionate, patient, and respectful towards clients.


• Relevant certifications or training in personal support or healthcare is an asset.


• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
