Personal Support Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team in Northville, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support to clients in their daily activities, helping them maintain independence and improve their quality of life. This position offers competitive compensation ranging from $14.00 to $19.00 per hour, paid bi-weekly.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to promote their well-being.


• Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.


• Support clients with medication reminders and monitor their health condition.


• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.


• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.


• Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Personal Support Worker or similar role plus.


• Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude towards clients.


• Ability to follow care plans and safety protocols.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Reliable transportation to and from client locations in Northville, MI.
