Personal Support Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team in Chelsea, MI. In this role, you will provide essential care and support to individuals, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. You will work closely with clients to assist with daily activities and support their physical and emotional well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Help with meal preparation and feeding, as needed.


• Monitor and report changes in the client's condition to healthcare professionals.


• Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients.


• Support clients with medication reminders and adherence to care plans.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Personal Support Worker or in a similar caregiving role is a plus.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Compassionate, patient, and reliable.


• Ability to pass background checks and meet any licensing requirements.
