Personal Support Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team in Dexter, MI. In this role, you will provide essential care and support to individuals in their homes, promoting independence and enhancing their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.


• Provide medication reminders and assist with mobility as needed.


• Monitor and report any changes in client health or behavior to the appropriate personnel.


• Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients.


• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients to enhance their well-being.


• Follow care plans and communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Personal Support Worker or similar role is a plus.


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Compassionate and patient demeanor.


• Reliable and punctual with a commitment to providing high-quality care.


• Relevant certifications or training in personal support work is an asset.
