Personal Support Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Workers to provide essential care and support to our clients in River Rouge, MI. This role involves assisting individuals with their daily living activities to promote their independence and enhance their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.


• Support clients with mobility and transfers safely.


• Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for clients.


• Follow care plans and adhere to company policies and procedures.


• Maintain client confidentiality and respect their dignity at all times.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.


• Previous experience in personal support, home care, or related fields is a plus.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a care team.


• Reliable transportation to and from client locations.


• Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude.
