Personal Support Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Workers to join our team in Romulus, MI. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Assist with light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation as needed.


• Monitor and report changes in clients’ health or behavior to appropriate personnel.


• Follow care plans and protocols established by healthcare professionals.


• Maintain accurate records of services provided and client progress.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Personal Support Worker or in a similar caregiving role preferred.


• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately.


• Basic knowledge of personal care and health safety standards.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Reliable transportation to and from the job location in Romulus, MI.


• Must pass necessary background checks.
