Personal Support Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Workers to provide exceptional care and support to clients in Monroe, MI. This role involves assisting individuals with their daily living activities to improve their quality of life in a respectful and caring environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.


• Support clients with medication reminders and basic health monitoring.


• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.


• Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals.


• Document care provided and report any changes in client condition promptly.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Personal Support Worker or in a similar care-giving role is a plus.


• Compassionate and patient with strong interpersonal skills.


• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and assisting clients with mobility.


• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is an asset.


• Must be able to pass background checks and any required health screenings.
