Personal Support Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Workers to join our team in Clawson, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support and care to individuals in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. This position offers competitive compensation ranging from $14.00 to $19.00 per hour, paid semi-monthly.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Assist with medication reminders and basic health monitoring as directed.


• Ensure a safe and clean environment in the client’s home.


• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and supervisory staff regarding client needs and progress.


• Adhere to care plans and follow established protocols and procedures.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a Personal Support Worker or similar role is a plus.


• Compassionate, patient, and able to work independently.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to pass background checks.


• Reliable transportation to client locations in Clawson, MI.
