Debug Pest Control, a trusted leader in pest management, is seeking a Pest Control Technician to join our team in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.  This role includes managing a variety of pest issues, with a particular focus on addressing bed bug infestations. Whether you are an experienced professional or someone eager to learn, this position offers growth in an exciting industry.

About the Role:

As a Pest Control Technician, you will conduct inspections, provide effective pest management solutions, and educate clients about pest prevention. Bed bug treatment is a key focus of this role, so attention to detail and customer communication are essential.

Licensing in Connecticut is required. If you do not currently hold the necessary certifications, Debug Pest Control is committed to supporting you in obtaining them.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections for pests, including bed bugs, pest harborages, and entryways.
• Develop and execute customized treatment plans for a variety of pest issues, including bed bugs.
• Educate customers on effective pest prevention practices, including sanitation and landscaping.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate service details clearly with clients.
• Operate and maintain service vehicles and equipment in compliance with company and state regulations.
• Adhere to safety standards and proper handling of pest control products.
• Support sales efforts through referrals or up-sells as appropriate.

Requirements

• RI/MA Pesticide Applicator License (or willingness to obtain with company support).
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Preferred but not required:

• Previous experience in pest control, including bed bug management.
• Applicator licenses in additional states (e.g., CT).
• Certifications such as Quality Pro, Green Pro, or School Pro.
