Are you passionate about animals and dedicated to providing outstanding care? Hot Diggity Dog Resort is looking for a compassionate, reliable Pet Care Technician to join our team!
About the Role:
As a Pet Care Technician, you'll play a vital role in the health, happiness, and safety of the pets staying in our boarding and daycare programs. Youâll be part of a fun, supportive team in a fast-paced environment where animal well-being comes first.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Feeding, watering, and caring for dogs in our suites and daycare areas
- Cleaning and sanitizing rooms, crates, and play areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment
- Engaging with dogs during playtimeâsafety and enrichment are key
- Administering medications and observing for any signs of illness or distress
- Communicating with supervisors about pet behavior and facility needs
What Weâre Looking For:
- A genuine love for animals and desire to work with them daily
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow health/safety protocols
- Willingness to get dirty and work hardâitâs hands-on and physical
- Patience, emotional resilience, and the ability to handle challenging situations
- Ability to lift 40+ lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Previous animal care experience is a plus, but not requiredâweâll train the right person!
