DOGO Grooming is looking to hire a Pet Stylist.

Pet Stylist Position:

We offer both Salon and Mobile grooming. Tools can be provided. We are in the process of expanding our mobile grooming. We have an open position for both salon and mobile - Full time or Part Time. Must LOVE animals, be patient, detailed oriented, motivated, team player, have basic computer knowledge, and have common sense.

Looking for people that take pride in what they do and willing to adapt to DOGO team culture.
We are not a high volume salon - we focus on quality. Average is 5-7 a day in the salon and 6-8 in the mobile. We have 2 receptionists, 3 full time groomers. We accept haircut breeds under 25bs only and have stopped accepting certain large/x-large breeds.

Requirements (if experienced):

- Perform breed cuts
- Excellent Bathing Skill
- Hand Scissoring
- Fluff Drying
- De-matting
- Corrective Grooming
- Adaptability to our style of grooming
- Excellent communicator
- Valid CA Drivers License
- Clean driving record

Compensation/Benefits:

- W2 Hourly plus tips

- CE Allowance (pays for classes)
- Tool Maintenance (pays for sharpening)

Apprenticeship - would prefer previous experience working with animals or in grooming. If not, be ready to learn! You would start off as an assistant to the stylist. Please email for details if interested.
