Petroleum Construction Operations Manager

The JF Petroleum Group stands as a premier leader in the North American fueling infrastructure industry, offering comprehensive turn-key solutions for distribution, construction, and service needs. We serve a diverse clientele including retail fueling stations, commercial and government fleets, and emergency power customers. 

This is a salaried position which will be responsible for assigned operational projects in the JF Petroleum in the state of Florida. Primary areas of focus will be to support ongoing regional construction and service, operations across Florida. Candidate must quickly learn and gain a working knowledge of our business systems and business processes. Candidate will need to satisfactorily complete all assigned safety, systems, and process training.  

Responsibilities/Key Metrics (KPIs):

• Lead assigned projects primarily focused on business operating systems and process improvement across multiple departments in Florida.  
• Gain working knowledge of our functional business systems and reporting tools including: Procore, Installation Cost Budget Tracking, MS Teams, MS Project, and all other business reporting tools.  
• Gain working knowledge of our construction and service organizations; required to spend time in the field observing and supporting active construction and service projects
• Learn and adopt all safety protocols 
• Gain familiarity and understanding of Accounts Receivable process and help support priority initiative around past due and collections process.
• Support new branch openings and support branch operations as assigned 
• Attend and complete all assigned training
• This position will work extensively with the installation, construction, and other operational executives across the assigned region.  
• Preparing estimates as needed.

• Highschool Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Skills / Qualifications / Experience:
• Strong petroleum industry experience 
• Strong leadership and management experience
• Ability to succeed in a large and complex matrixed organization structure
• Candidate must be willing to travel as necessary
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Must be able to meet company’s employment requirements, which includes passing a drug screen, criminal background check, and MVR, if driving for the company 
• Physical Requirements: include occasional lifting/carrying of 10 pounds; visual acuity, speech and hearing; hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer keyboard and basic office equipment. Subject to sitting, standing, reaching, walking, twisting, and kneeling to perform the essential functions. Working conditions are primarily inside an office environment. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
