We currently have a role available for a Pharma Biochemist.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

• Executing biophysical assays such as thermal shift and SPR to support hit validation and characterization for project teams.
  
  
  
  • Exposure to ELISA assay development preferred.
  
  
  
  


• Performing buffer screen for protein target and compound library screen


• Preparing test materials, including serial dilutions, and following established protocols for assay execution.
  
  
  
  • Experience utilizing single and multi-channel pipettes accurately is required.
  
  
  
  


• Performing basic data analysis.


• Maintaining instruments and performing routine maintenance procedures to ensure assay reliability.


• Documenting experimental procedures and results in laboratory notebooks with precision and clarity.

Job requirements include, but are not limited to:

• BS-Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or related field with 2-5 years of industry experience (preferably pharma) outside of academia. MS with 1-2 years of industrial laboratory experience will also be considered.
  


• Experience in data analysis using Excel as well as ability to learn/execute utilizing proprietary software.


• Familiarity with automation, liquid handlers and 96/384 well plates a plus.


• Strong attention to detail is required.


• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written. Ability to communicate issues as they occur.


• Works well both as a team and as an individual.


• Demonstration of very strong problem-solving skills, a high level of learning agility, and the ability to work across functions. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and self-motivated, with the leadership and communication skills necessary to operate effectively in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment with flexibility and an adaptable approach to goal delivery.
