Position Overview:
As a Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in overseeing the preparation, dispensing, and monitoring of medications. You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal drug therapy outcomes and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and verify physician orders and prescriptions for accuracy and safety

• Dispense medications according to legal and ethical guidelines

• Counsel patients on proper medication use and possible side effects

• Monitor patient responses to therapies and adjust dosages when needed

• Maintain accurate records and comply with all regulatory and safety standards

• Collaborate with the healthcare team to support clinical goals and medication management

Qualifications:

• Active Pharmacist license in the state of Missouri (or eligibility to obtain)

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent degree required

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a clinical or hospital pharmacy setting preferred

• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical drugs, interactions, and administration practices

• Excellent communication and organizational skills
