The Pharmacist, Clinical Resident will contribute to various aspects of clinical programs development, maintenance and review and help implement strategic initiatives as it relates to clinical aspects of Lumicera throughout their residency. The Pharmacist, Clinical Resident will support the coordination of student pharmacy intern experience at Lumicera. The Pharmacist, Clinical Resident will be responsible for pharmacist duties as it relates to pharmacy operations. The Pharmacist, Clinical Resident will interface with pharmacists, Pharmacist, Clinical Residents, physicians, nurses, and specialty pharmacy providers with respect to specialty pharmacy services and patient care.

How do I make an impact on my team?

  • Assist with the development of the Residency program development and implementation under the guidance of the Quality Pharmacist and Clinical Programs Pharmacist.
  • Involvement in the ongoing development and management of Clinical Programs and patient care.
  • Assist with operational tasks, required reporting, and project management as it relates Manufacturer Clinical Programs.
  • Involvement with ongoing Quality and Accreditation Program management.
  • Performing compliance and ongoing training audits.
  • Facilitating training of other pharmacists and pharmacist interns on clinical and operational aspects of Lumicera, where appropriate.
  • Creating and presenting clinical drug information presentations to pharmacists.
  • Practice as a Licensed Clinical Pharmacist and leader in the specialty pharmacy and health system clinics, as applicable, focusing on high quality patient care and excellent customer service.
  • Involvement in ongoing development and management of IDN/Networking Assistance programs
  • Abide to all quality, accreditation, and compliance standards throughout their residency experience.
  • Responsible for staying current with clinical literature and guidelines and relaying those to program development core teams.

What our team expects from you?

  • Pharm.D. degree or equivalent experience. Pharmacist licensure in WI or AZ or eligible for licensure.
  • Knowledge of Specialty Pharmacy Operations
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and ability to function independently and make decisions
  • Emphasis on problem-solving skills, including identifying and accepting a challenging situation and creating and implementing a solution.
  • Requires attention to details to assure projects are clinically, editorially, and systems accurate and can be operationalized. Possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with co-workers, other health providers, and patients. Proficiency in drug literature and clinical trial evaluation, including proficiency with electronic databases (e.g., Micromedex, Medline, Internet) preferred
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, including tables, charts, and figures preferred
  • Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives
  • The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
  • Hours/Location: Monday - Friday 8:00-5:00pm-Madison, WI
