Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide expert clinical pharmacy services and medication therapy management
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Lead pharmacotherapeutic decision-making and medication safety initiatives
• Deliver virtual pharmacy consultations for ambulatory care settings
• Provide comprehensive medication education to patients and healthcare providers
• Oversee sterile/non-sterile compounding operations
• Participate in emergency response teams for cardiopulmonary events
• Mentor pharmacy students and residents through clinical education programs
• Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and institutional policies

Required Qualifications:

• PharmD degree from an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy
• Virginia State Pharmacy License (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
• Strong clinical knowledge and patient counseling skills
• Excellence in interprofessional communication
• Proficiency in pharmacy information systems and technology

Preferred Qualifications:

• Completed PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency
• Hospital pharmacy experience
• Advanced certifications (BCPS, BCACP, etc.)
